It’s a cosy little development of eco-loving homes, each one different but all vigorously green. ‘Congenial environment’ is the phrase the developer likes to use - i.e. the kids can play in the road without getting run over (cars are a no-no), you can raise your vegetable supply in an allotment on site, snoop on wildlife in special natural habitats dotted round the estate and barbecue organic sausages with neighbours in the communal garden square.
