Jason left school and entered the construction industry in the late 80’s working for various small contractors before deciding on undertaking a City & Guilds in Bricklaying.
Having worked his way from bricklayer to Site Manager by 2000, Jason joined Mount Anvil Plc, working on schemes with a build cost of £4m-£15m.
The schemes worked with Housing Associations to produce affordable housing, comprising new build apartments within central London. Mount Anvil implemented a positive safety culture that Jason has carried with him ever since.
Moving on in early 2007, to experience working within a large multi national company, he joined Belwinch Homes, a division of the Kier Group, as Regional Construction Manager. Jason oversaw a variety of new build projects from 8 to 550 units comprising a mixture of houses and apartments within the South-East area of the UK. The properties were mainly private for sale, with an element of social housing.
Having been introduced to Living Villages in the summer of 2007 Jason felt the opportunity to good to be missed heading up the Production department, managing construction, sales and customer care. The role also involves working closely with our construction and marketing partners.
“As the need for more housing becomes apparent, the greater the need to build sustainable homes increases. If this can be done incorporating the unique, and highly desirable brand that is Living Villages then so much better.
‘The delivery of these homes safely and to a high quality, utilising the latest sustainability techniques and providing an unparalleled services of aftercare’ is the Production Departments mission statement.” |
