Eco-homes win accolade
A development of eco-homes being built in south Shropshire has been commended at a national planning award ceremony. The Wintles at Bishop’s Castle went head to head with three other projects for the Royal Town Planning Institute’s West Midlands award for planning achievement.

Sue Griffith-Jones, RTPI West Midlands co-ordinator, said: ‘Sustainability is a key word in town planning at the moment, and we think this project is innovative and hopefully will be duplicated around the country.’
