The scheme is designed to favour pedestrians rather than cars, although it is possible to drive up to each front door if necessary. Parking is on allocated spaces. There are no garages (now that is radical!) although there are car shelters. Each house has a private garden but the houses are in groups and each group of houses has a shared garden area.
