It was while visiting a music festival in Shropshire that Mark stumbled across Living Villages by accident and he had to find out more. At that time there was only one show house on The Wintles development at Bishop’s Castle but he was impressed with concept of energy efficient housing.

One of the most striking features of the house is the unusual contemporary design with it’s expanse of glass. Inside this creates and amazing sunspace and glazed stairwell exposed to the three floors giving magnificent open views of the surrounding countryside.
